Towards an Allied Popular Arab Resistant
In the time when our Arab World is continuously under the attack of the Zionism and Imperialism, and with the widespread Arab Human Rights violations in light of the Occupation and Blockade, the Arab Student Observatory of Victims of Occupation and Blockade in GUAS suggested a new rooted vision for resistance, as a base too construct an Arab popular movement that is allied to all International Anti-Zionist Anti-Imperialist Movements.
The Primary and Only Enemy of all People
Imperialism is the primary and basic enemy for all people, and the most effective, developing and aggressive one is the US imperialism, which means that it will never be and under no circumstances an ally to any of the world’s populations. This clarifies our battle priority to fight the US imperialism, which reassures that the Imperialism Content for what is called “Globalization” including the current “Great Middle Eastern Project” and the fight against imperialism in the Arab World (Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, etc.) is the continuation of the battle against colonialism, and is now the center of the main fights against imperialism universally, and the defeat of imperialism in the Arab World will represent a basic step towards defeating the imperialism project universally.
The legal Status of the Zionist Entity
The continuous insistence on the illegality of the Zionist Racist Entity, and the denial of transforming it into a normal acceptable norm in the Arab region, raises the acknowledgement, that the normal relationship with this entity is only resistance and demolishment of its occupational settlements. In addition, this also emphasizes that the basic contradiction in our region is between the liberation Arabic movement and the Zio-US Imperialists projects, and that the conflict between them cannot be solved by any settlement, and the conflict with the Zionist Entity is a Battle of Existence not a Battle of Borders, and if any project includes integrating this Entity in the region is considered to be a colonialist project that should be battled against.
The total refusal of the Occupation of Iraq and all the outcomes of this occupation,
The total refusal of all attempts of conspiracies against Syria,
The total refusal of dividing Sudan
Standing Hand in Hand on the resistance front against occupation
Believing that the internationalist Struggle is the way to the absolute defeat of Imperialism
Palestinian Students Fights the way of educational success
“How can I study and prepare for my exams and the army of the occupation is mashing our chests, no electrical power in our homes, and the continuous bullet whistles shacking the basis of our houses?” a description by a student preparing for his high school exams, and narrating the reality of 2072 Students in Gaza Strip and West Bank, that also lost 77 classmates as martyrs.
“Our Homes are Military Camps”
“Our homes are military camps that a person cannot predict the time when it is attacked or bombed which make all of us not able to think or dream except of that”, the Palestinian student added that “I cannot concentrate on my studies every time I imagine that the Occupation soldiers will occupy my home in any minuet and that if I move I will jeopardize my life, and that I have a short time to finish what I can from my curricula because we have no electricity at night. In addition to their continuous noise that they use to scare us with in order not to have some rest at night”.
Studying colored with PAIN
“I study lying on my bed due to the pain I have from my wound”, this is a student that was shot in his stomach on the 11th of November, 2000, and had several surgeries in Germany but still cannot move normally, and he is willing to attend the final school exams despite being in the hospital although he cannot study more than 30 min. a day, putting one hand on the wound and holding the book with the other trying to finish the course he missed during his hospitalization in Germany.
This is the Status of the Palestinian Students that has the curricula but cannot find the good atmosphere for studying, and those might be in better condition from pother students that lost everything even their curricula under the wreckage of their homes that was destroyed by the Zionist Occupational forces.
The Student School Dropout Plan
This is Strategy that the Occupational Forces use against the Palestinian Students through its political and military procedures which forced not to reach their schools which lead to a dropout, which lined their priorities to “sustain their lives” from being targeted by the Zionist Soldiers. The aggressive Zionist procedures have poisoned the studying mechanisms that have nearly vanished in society, and added a continuous psychological stress.
Detained Students
The current number of detained students is 65, in addition to 15 teachers that were captured by the Zionist Authorities. Furthermore, the construction of sand and cement barriers around the Palestinian cities and camps, and imposing curfews are obstacles that prevents teachers and students from reaching their schools. It is worth mentioning that there are 240 Palestinian schools that are built near the demarcation lines with the Zionist Army and Settlers which jeopardize the students lives and expose them to attacks and torture by the army and settlers in addition to attacking the school holds and breaking the chairs and equipments which lead to a complete closure of these schools.
Five Schools in Tolkarem city was bombed and partially destroyed, while other schools in Silet AL-Thaher was attacked by poisonous gas.
In Hosan, Bethlehem, many students have suffocated from the poisonous gas, while all students in old town of Galilee were not able to reach their 22 schools due to a 70 days curfew.
In Al-Khader, all four schools were closed by the Occupational forces after breaking in a destroying all its assets.
In Iraq, the number of students that enrolled in the educational system consisted of 55% of the total number that can enroll. While the sum of the enrolled children that were at the age of 6 was 59%, which resembles that the dropout is around 41 % between children. This percentage is found to be higher at the age of 12 as it reached for the enrollment 56% and 44% for the dropout.
The statistics show that the average of youth ability to read and write between the ages of 15 and 25 is 74%, which points out that 26% of this group could be counted with the illiterate which Iraq have had in the last years. A gap is also noticed in the level of learning between females and males, surprisingly, it is not the deterioration of female learning but the declining of number of male students. The levels of failure ware marked highly, as it shows that 20% of children has failed in school for the first time.
The dropout of students in large numbers was an outcome of the occupation and its economical effects that Iraq is now facing, and the deterioration of the level of daily living for the family, that cause the children to dropout and go to work.
Universities break through
Al-Anbar University break through by the US occupational Forces, west of Iraq, was the first witness of the US Democracy. One of the media sources said that “US Humfy bulldozers broke through the University campus from the back entrance and many soldiers supported by heavy tanks spread around the campus that consists of 10 main buildings and searched many faculties without giving any reasons.
This procedure has raised the level of tension and general dissatisfaction between the students and the professors of that University. Some said that this was not the first time emphasizing that the occupational forces has formerly occupied the campus neglecting all our voices and calls to stop these acts that we have raised to the what so called the “Iraqi ministry of higher education”.
It is worth motioning that the US occupational forces has occupied the faculties of agriculture and internal divisions and transformed them into military compounds.
Clashes between students and Occupation Forces
In Jaderia, south Baghdad, students had clashed with the US occupation forces by hands after the break through of their University, but what fueled the tensions is the sexual harassment of those soldiers to the female students.
Searching and break through
The US forces has broke through and searched many universities like Baghdad University and Mostanseria, which raised the level of tension between Iraqi students.
Iraqi Teachers divided between the burdens of the educational message and the security fears
The US occupation has set a plan to build the basic scientific basis and build the Iraqis knowledge, as a step to build the new educational system, and to achieve this they had to execute and assassinate the old Scientific minds.
This plan along with the assassinations are clear now to target hundreds of students that are still attending schools, but yet they are endangered by the planted bombs and explosives, which was elaborated by the death of the 12 Basra Student martyrs in the continuous group killings that the occupation is undertaking and that is considered to be under international law a WAR CRIME.
A call for solidarity with the prisoners in the Zionist occupation prisons
The Arab Student Observatory is anxiously monitoring the Syrian Prisoners of the Occupied Golan Heights in the Zionist prisons. They are living in repelling humanitarian conditions that neglect any health issues. These prisoners were detained and sentenced for their will to fight and resist the occupation.
The Detainees of the Gajar Syrian Occupied Village
All the prisoners and the detainees of this village were convicted for supporting resistance movements. The Zionists authorities accuse them of supplying highly developed military weapons in return of supplying settlers with drugs and spreading it into the “Israeli” Settlements.
